Come Sip & Savor with Hourglass Vineyards Owner: Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith had the unique experience of growing up next door to many of the families that transformed Napa Valley into one of the most prestigious wine growing regions in the world. The Smith family bought the six acre parcel in the St. Helena appellation that eventually became Hourglass in 1976. Napa Valley is generally shaped like an hourglass, and the hillside site defined the “pinch,” or narrowest point of the Valley. Its unique location and unusual growing climate gives Hourglass Vineyards an edge over the rest of California wine country.

As a result of the wildfires sweeping across Napa Valley, the Blueline Estate was unfortunately in nature’s furious path. We are glad that everyone at Hourglass remains safe, and are excited to virtually host Jeff. We will be donating 10% of our total ticket sales to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund to help combat the wildfires spreading across the state.

Our Chefs will be making a custom multicourse menu to accompany the wines we’ll be highlighting that evening. Each party will have their own private table, socially distanced from others, and we will continue to act in accordance with the Oklahoma City Mask Mandate.

Enjoy fine dining, and all that it encompasses, while learning more about one of our favorite labels. From vine to Vast, and now to you.
